AGM on 26/4/22.

Can someone please give us a synopsis of what happened at the AGM? Many thanks.

Thank you, our conference centre seems to be a licence to print money! Anything about the plan to increase capacity by knocking down the Bedser stand? Or anything similar at the Vauxhall end?

The only comments about those stands are that they are looking at possibilities and costs. for example it maybe a make over of the Bedser stand.
the next big expenditure is the building of the hotel. The quoted cost was twenty million pounds, half the sum from the club and the other half from bank loans.

The Bedser stand needs more than a makeover. It was poorly designed from the outset. The sections towards the back and in the corner are particularly galling, along with the section of different coloured seating I call the Nuremberg Trials. In light of the rapid growth in our membership and the rule change at the recent AGM to remove any "cap"  on numbers, we need a bigger, better designed stand with facilities to complement the new stand on the other side of the pavilion.
