That is a blow to developing are seam bowlers, Aza has done a bloody good job in his time as assistant coach.

This is definitely bad news for us but probably not surprising that his country has come calling, given the performance of Pakistan in the last World Cup and the job Azhar has done with us

The word amongst the player is that Azhar has done an excellent job with seamers over the last two years. Sorry to see him go, cant blame him for going back to Pakistan.

I’m rather surprised that Surrey have arrogantly announced that he will not be replaced. This they will regret.

Yes nice chap and great player. Have spoken with him many times over the years. It may have been his first game for us, but he took an 8/for back in 2002. Wish him all the best.

Azhar Mahmood Empty What rubbish is this? There has not been any arrogance at all. The cuurent coaching staff obviously feel they don't need to rush in to get an immediate replacement. Stewart will obviously be keeping an eye on the situation but this is not arrogance
