New Chairman Concern

Oli Slipper has been announced as our new Chairman. I vaguely remember him as a Surrey player many years ago. My worry is that he has been running the Oval Invincibles in the Horrid Hundred. I would expect therefore that he will be passionately pro-hundred and that is the last thing we need. They should have appointed someone who loves the Championship and hates the Hundred.

That is concerning. I’ve checked my pen and paper supply and there is enough to compile strongly worded letters when required.

Oli Slipper? Never even heard of him. Is this a joke?

He’s resigned from the Invincibles position

Well, that's something. Hopefully he regrets ever having accepted it.
