Don't care really. But he came out and took the piss with that "innings". If he wasn't captain he should have been sent off. Whole game was a shame.

Re: Test Match Day 2
There are many things about Surrey that I am proud of: our history, our ground, our welcoming, friendly atmosphere. But the way our PR department spins modern-day Oval Test matches as triumphs or classics regardless of what actually happened is quite sickening.
Apparently this one was a great tribute to The Queen. While there is no evidence she was a particular lover of cricket, I can't imagine she would have been particularly impressed by the lack of application displayed by the blokes holding the lumps of wood, and especially the example set by England's captain, who on Friday was leading the calls to play the match.

With all due respect Jackers I disagree. There was no boundary padding, minimal adverts, a minute’s silence… it was a unique test match.

The England captain bowled 13 overs on one leg, took 3 wickets and kept the score down to level that even Crawley could knock most of it off. I reckon Liz would have appreciated that effort.

The only two batters who averaged 40 in the South Africa series were the two Surrey lads.
