I wonder if he'll play for England again? I think probably not now that Brook and others have arrived on the scene.

No reason he shouldn't play for us - certainly T20. Championship? Not sure if we need him?

I see there are 3 supposed "ODI's" against Ireland coming up in the next week. No disrespect to Ireland, but what is the point? If they wanted a warm up for the World Cup go and play a few games in somewhere hot similar to India. How on earth is playing flood lite games at Headingley and Trent Bridge in late September going to help anyone? Yet again the 100 stuffs up the schedule. I find it hard to believe anyone would pay good money to freeze in the cold and wet to watch this tripe.

To be completely honest I am in bafflement because I do not understand how Claire Connor scheduled the fixtures seemingly without agreement of the team to end up with the ludicrous situation where we are not putting out a full strength side.

Eoin Morgan was very keen on having the white ball stuff in a block (which it was in 2021 and 2022, and indeed prior to 2006) so that makes me think the England teams have some say on the scheduling. Certainly Thompson has promised we won’t finish the Test summer that early again.

Couldn't give a Donald Duck about England any more.Gave up watching the football team about 15 years ago and now it's time to try and do the same with the Cricket team/s.
