Thanks Jackers, can’t disagree with any of those choices ,but it’s been a hard choice to choose this year.

I voted for all the men's winners as described except for the "Player of the Year". I had Jordan Clark as my second choice but I think the player of the season has been Ben Foakes. I would accept that my decision is almost purely based on red ball cricket but his keeping has been superb, together with Jamie Smith he has basically held our batting together and perhaps most pertinently I admired the way he responded to England's dreadful treatment of him for the Ashes series. After being dropped to make room for Bairstow, he could easily have responded in a really negative way but he then produced probably his best performances for Surrey and for me, that said everything about his character and his feelings for this great club. I certainly don't think one or two other players we could all name would have responded in the same way (the Currans, Jason Roy for example).

If voting had been a bit later, I would have probably opted for Liam Dawson's century last week to defeat Essex as my Large Rum Moment.

With Surrey seemingly limping towards this year's title, Dawson's support was invaluable.

On the evidence of this season I hope we get Sean Abbott back next year, subject of course to his availability when we need him. I am starting to think it should be "thanks for the memories" to Kemar.
