The conversation about the Kookabura ball, did raise the question, if this was to help the England players get used to this ball in England conditions, why did the ECB rest England players during the trial?

All in consensus that the Kookabura trial wasn't a good idea.

Very sad to think about the state of West Indies cricket. Kemar (on 270 wickets) said he'd probably need to play till Jimmy Andersons age to hit 300 wickets as West Indies play so few matches.

You wonder if this World Test Championship was to have any relevance everyone should play a smiliar amount and if West Indies can't organise tours at home, maybe a club could give them the use of their ground to perhaps play Ireland while they are over here playing a mini tour of England.

Also I saw Ireland have cancelled their Australian tour due to finances, you wonder if England have all these Test venues why can't we help developing countries to get a foot up on the test ladder and let them use perhaps a smaller venue like Southampton.
