Inter-Squad Friendly (01-02 Apr) Empty Inter-Squad Friendly (01-02 Apr)

Hopefully a bit more than glorified middle practice.

As Australia did in 2019, if done properly an inter-squad match is a great warm-up.

No sign of Tom Lawes or Ben Geddes in the last couple of games. Injuries?

On which subject, it must surely be about time for Matt Dunn to pick up his annual season-ending injury.

Thank you for contacting us. The game tomorrow is being played behind closed doors as there will not be any stewards or any facilities open.

Dunn had his knee heavily strapped at Hove last week. When i asked him he said he'd scraped it diving in the outfield.

What’s happened to Dan Worrall? Injured already?
He hasn’t played any of the warm up games.

Worrall still playing in Australia perhaps? Peter Handscomb is still out there making a lot more runs than he did at Middlesex.

Dunn bowled in the Middlesex friendly but I think just one new ball spell.

Thanks Adelaide. We get told nothing by the club
their PR is awful.

There can be few easier ways for our batsmen/batters to warm up for the season than against our bowlers, it seems.

This is fantastic news. Really shouldn't be any excuses with the players we have available...

I know it's April but I'd probably have both Moriarty and Virdi. 4 seamers is a lot.

While your standard call for this is always rightfully mocked, RB, it will be interesting to see how our spin bowling interim head coach approaches the issue of 1 spinner or 2, and if 1, who is first choice. If Sam was able to bowl then it would be easier to play 2.

Looking at the scorecard so far it looks like a continuation of the Glamorgan match last season.

RJ Burns 0.1-0-0-1

I think we’ve found a fourth seamer.

Rory dismissed S Curran for 97 with the last ball of the match. The poor lad still doesn't have a century to his name!
