Will be available for 25 June vs Middlesex and will stay until final T20 Group game, and presumably that includes the next two Championship games.

Why didn't we go for him initially? Wonderful player.

He looked a real handful in the first test. Great signing, and I am more excited at the prospect that he can help get into the top 2 of our championship group than what he might do in T20.

If this guy can replicate that, or anything remotely close to it, on the same ground two weeks from now, we will be heading for the super six of the championship.

Whether any of us will be there to see it is another matter...

Jamieson will be one of the greats of this decade.

He looks a fantastic red and white-ball bowler, and someone who will be very useful coming in at number 8 especially in T20. Clark, Overton and Jamieson are going to give us some welly down the order if the big guns at the top happen to get out cheaply.

I’d be amazed if he actually plays for us on Friday given this game has gone into day 6. If he was an England player he’d be given a month off.
