Buckinghamshire v Surrey (National Counties fixture - 20 July 2021)

Will this national counbties fixture be switched to the Oval or Guildford. As yet here is no venue for this match being given on the Club website. Normally a game against a minor county would not get that much attention but as membersv have been starved of cricket for so long you might get a better attendance than normal.

Kent have switched their game against Suffolk to Beckenham (and are asking £ 25 admission ! ) Essex have switched theirs against Cambridge to Chelmsford and Middlesex are playing two games against Berkshire and also against Hertfordshire (presumably at Radlett)

The reason I ask this is that last year this game clashed with the the 100 ball game and the club were organising a coach to go to High Wycombe so it does not follow that this years game would be at the Oval.

Hi Red - sorry to have to let you know that the Bucks game has been scrapped or at best postponed until 2022. Pretty sure the Club announced this a few weeks ago.

The game couldn't be played on the Bucks ground due to some covid nonsense whilst the Oval is being used for the Hundred and Woodbridge Road is unavailable (don't know why) on the intended date next month.

Don't doubt what your saying, but if that 's the case the fioxture needs to come off the Surrey website

The Surrey website often gets information about future fixtures wrong, do not trust it. I do not think it is updated after the initial fixtures are input.
