Surely Lawes won't be far off being a regular first-team pick?

Won the league with this approach last year. Also, not like it spins much in April or May anyway?

thats a nice selection problem to have, and Sam (when available) will be more of an allrounder batting at in the top 6, as can Jacks

the 1st team selection will be interesting

Hate to be the pessimist but I don't see Jacks, SCurran, Topley playing any Championship cricket this year. Maybe TC if he still fancies it, but even then he's not an automatic pick by any stretch

Abbot is an excellent signing who perfectly fits the way Batty wants us to play.
