Like last year, we go into the last lap with about a one-game lead in terms of points. With Northants at home to come and the distinct possibility that rain/light may play a part in the final round especially I would rather be in our position than Essex's.
But that doesn't mean we should leave anything to chance in terms of bolstering our team. We are where we are because we have employed good overseas players alongside those we have developed or recruited from other counties. I would be delighted to have Roach and Latham back if both are available.

Be a shame if the weather plays a part in the outcome. Neither team’s Remaining matches are further north than Northampton.
