Was it the right call for Burns to put them in to bat?

Re: Somerset at the Oval
Is it too early to have a whinge about the Kookaburra ball? Especially after last week at Lords?
Bowling first may prove to be correct as the “New Zealand approach”, bowl first, bowl them out for 400, score 600+ in reply, and win the game from there…

The pitch looks green, but we have not bowled well, especially Overton and Atkinson.I would certainly have selected Lawes on this wicket.

Sun out, bat surely. I'm not in the ground but this pitch isn't a green top. Looks like a 450 vs 450 at the moment No Lawes? I'll say it again: Atkinson is way overrated, and now England have him he'll have a summer of rest. Why on earth are they using a Kookaburah?

Isn't this what a lot of sides do? See it's a green top, elect to bowl first then realise it's a bat first pitch.
Either way, very poor after lunch

Try Sir Winston - he may well have destroyed the main entrance trying to get in with no card, and a dodgy app.

To borrow from a card I saw the other week - what if the hokey-cokey IS what it's all about?

Batsman's wickets in all games. We've probably cocked this up.

Are we being fed misinformation?!!! I am sat here in the top tier witnessing countless spectators enjoying their beer served in the no return deposit plastic glasses without handles ….. with handles!!!!! My god the planet will die with all this extra plastic. Slipper has fed us a lie !!!!!! I can’t enjoy my Amstel feeling such guilt !
Might I add, the app actually worked a treat upon entry to the ground and pavilion. Credit where it’s due.
